InshaAllah I will be able to help with your Qur’an, Alhumdulillah, I have repaired & bound Qur’ans for Huffadh as they have had the Qur’an for a long time & also Qur’ans that have been in families for a few generations.

I can only tell you how long it will take & how much once I have seen your Qur’an. If you are based in Leicester, you may bring the Qur’an to me, address is on the contact page. If you are in another town/city I recommend sending the Qur’an using Royal Mail special delivery - indicating on the box ‘Holy Quran / Holy text’ - this service is handled differently to normal mail and will be handled carefully. 

There are many options for covering , leather is the most preferred and traditional, this will be discussed with you once the Qur’an is received. 

Any additional major repairs, hand sewing, gold details - name, dates etc are charged extra which I will inform you of before starting should the need arise. People using tape for repairs is common, which I will remove and the torn / fragmented pages will be repaired and made good. Attempts will be made to reinstate missing words/verses. The mushaf will be prepared and a new cover then made. I use quality genuine bookbinding goatskin from a world renowned tannery.
